Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs, National Defense, Islamic Affairs and Moroccan Expatriates Committee Nadia Bouaida Holds Talks with the AU Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security

On the sidelines of her participation in the African Union’s Reflection Forum on Unconstitutional Changes of Governments in Africa, taking place in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs, National Defense, Islamic Affairs and Moroccan Expatriates Committee, Ms. Nadia Bouaida, held talks on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, with the African Union’s Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security, H.E. Bankole Adeoye.

During the meeting, attended by the Ambassador Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Morocco to the African Union in Addis Ababa, H.E. Mohamed Aarouchi, Ms. Nadia Bouaida expressed her willingness to cooperate closely with the AU Commission in order to give parliamentary dynamism to the constructive cooperation linking the Kingdom of Morocco to the Commission of the African Union.

For his part, the AU Commissioner expressed his satisfaction with the outcomes of his latest visit to the Kingdom of Morocco. He also expressed his keen interest in the Moroccan parliamentary contribution with regard to the question of unconstitutional changes of governments in Africa.
