Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee Holds Talks with Romanian Counterpart

The Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs, National Defense, Islamic Affairs, and Moroccan Expatriates Committee, Rep. Nadia Bouaida, held talks on Monday, January 8, 2024, via videoconference, with her Romanian counterpart, MP Rozália Biró.

The meeting, attended by the President of the Romanian Businesswomen Union, Ms. Alina Novac, falls under the scope of following the joint action at the level of the two Foreign Affairs Committees at the Moroccan House of Representatives and the Romanian Parliament, with a view to reinforcing bilateral cooperation between the two countries and strengthening parliamentary coordination.

Following the meeting, Rep. Nadia Bouaida extended a formal invitation to her Romanian counterpart to perform an official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco in March 2024.

The visit would serve as an opportunity to discuss various aspect of cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and Romania, as well as to debate the questions and themes of mutual interest.

It should be noted that Rep. Nadia Bouaida performed a working visit to Romania on December 12, 2023, during which she held a series of talks with numerous parliamentary and government officials.
